- There's no need to take the basket apart — the stems are set in water-holding floral foam.
- Every two days, gently part the blooms in the center and pour in about half a cup of cold filtered water in a thin stream.
- Keep them out of the direct midday Florida sun and away from air conditioning.
- Remove fading petals — it keeps the buds beside them blooming longer.
